2021 Jeep Wrangler launched in India
Jeep India has launched 2021 Jeep Wrangler, the locally assembled version of its core 4x4 model This new version of Wrangler , assembled in India continues with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol making 268PS and 400 Nm on both versions.The hardcore 4x4 equipment is carried over as well with the Selec-Trac two-speed full-time transfer case and Dana front and rear axles. The transfer case has a low-range gear ratio of 2.72:1.
The Unlimited sits on 18-inch wheels shod with 255/70 all-terrain tyres. The impressive approach and departure angles of 41.8 degrees and 36.1 degrees will carry over in this version too.
Differentiating itself from the standard Wrangler, the Rubicon comes with black fenders, decals on the hood, lack of side steps for better off-road clearance, smaller 17-inch wheels, and the larger 33-inch BF Goodrich KM2 tyres. Further, the Rubicon sits about 10mm higher, with laden ground clearance rated at 217mm, or 2mm more than the Sahara. The SUV gets a heavier-duty Dana 44 front axle, electronically-locking differentials front and rear, and electronically disconnecting front sway bars.

Both versions get the same comforts which include leather seats, a soft touch leather-finish dashboard, UConnect infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted controls, cruise control, engine stop/start, dual-zone air-conditioning, automatic headlamps, front LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps and LED DRL. The Wrangler signature fold-flat windscreen and removable doors continue here in this Indian Assembled Version.
Prices for the Jeep Wrangler start at Rs 53.90 lakh for the Unlimited and go up to Rs 57.90 lakh for the hardcore Rubicon.
