Volvo is all set to launch its most affordable electric SUV in India – the Volvo EX30. Positioned below the EX40, the EX30 will mark Volvo’s entry into the compact luxury EV segment in the country.
Despite being the smallest SUV from the Swedish brand, the EX30 carries bold styling cues from its larger sibling, the EX90. Signature design elements like the ‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED headlights, crossover-like stance, and sleek proportions make it stand out on Indian roads.

The EX30 is expected to be offered in 69kWh battery versions, with both single and dual motor options. The dual motor variant could deliver up to 427 bhp, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of just 3.4 seconds – making it one of the quickest EVs in its class. A driving range of around 500 km is also anticipated.

The cabin will feature a 12.3-inch vertical touchscreen, minimalist dashboard, and Google-based infotainment system. Volvo is likely to offer Plus and Ultra trims in India, although variant-specific details are yet to be confirmed.
