You climb up into the GL thanks to its inherent height. But once you are in you high perch, you?ll find full electric adjustment for the seat and steering wheel. The seat itself is comfortable and the controls are pretty straightforward if you are used to a Merc. The dials are smart and the display between them tells you which off-road mode you are in. You might not like the smattering of buttons on the centre console ? you have to take your eyes off the road to adjust fan speed, but otherwise it feels nice.
