Rolls Royce Ghost

Now here?s the family scandal. Unlike the bigger Phantom?s unique aluminium spaceframe, the Ghost employs a steel monocoque chassis related to that of the BMW 7-Series. The Ghost also shares 20 percent of its parts with the Seven. More specifically the 760Li. The commonality hides in parts you can not see, like the electronic systems, climate control, suspension parts and some engine components. Both cars twin-turbo direct-injection V12 motors come form the same engine family. But the Ghost?s motor is stroked to 6.6 litres, up from the 760?s 6-litre unit. Like the engine, all the shared parts have bee tweaked to work better on the Roller, to maintain the superiority of the RR badge.
