Ford Ikon TDCi- Diesel
The nine year old Ikon is now much past its expiry date .The interior quality is a let down and the levels of refinement are not as good as one hoped it would be. Though the performance is good, it lacks in a light body and safety features.
The fuel economy is tempting and the price is Rs. 30000 cheaper than the cheapest Dzire Diesel (which does not have power windows, fog lamps or even a stereo) and a huge Rs. 70000 less than the base model of Logan. .
At Rs. 6.16 lacs, the Ikon TDCi comes fully loaded with power windows, central locking , fog lamps and stereo , which make it seriously worth considering. All considered, one hopes that it is cheap to maintain in the long run.
