Altroz had secured a perfect 5-star rating at the Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP) crash tests. Tata Altroz is country's second Made-in-India car to have secured a perfect five after the Tata Nexon.
The new Tata offering comes with two engine options. Both BSVI compliant. The 1.5-litre Revotorq turbo-diesel 4-cylinder is a detuned version of the one found in the Nexon and makes 90PS at 4,000rpm and 200Nm at 1,250-3,000rpm. The petrol motor is the 1.2-litre Revotron 3-cylinder petrol, as seen on the Tiago, with 86PS at 6,000rpm and 113Nm at 3,300rpm. Both come paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company is also working on dual clutch automatic gearbox .

infotainment and all the screen cluster are at the same horizental height so that your eyes donot have to refocus and your head doesnot have to move up and down. A lot of thought has gone into that.
with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz among others which are priced between Rs5.45 lakh and Rs 9.34 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi).
According to Mr. Pratap Bose, Vice President Global Design,Tata Motors, Altrox is for a very different set of customers who want comfort, status, power and at the same time performance.
The vehicle has sharply rising window line and tappering roof and one may believe that it will reduce Cabin space. However the experts believe that this design originally adopted in the Nexon has been highly appreciated and it offers enough headroom and a sense of roominess.
The doors that open to 90 degrees will be a trait on all ALFA Tata Cars. Rear door handles sit on C-Pillar. 16-inch rims donot fill wheel arches.
The Altroz with its high bonnet, meets Pedestrian safety norms
Tata`s Premium Hatchback has a number of strengths with its fice star safety feature & Designer look being the hook.
