Except for regular wear and tear related problems, there are not any City-specific issues. Poor city roads cause the front suspension to crash at around 50-60,000km. Engine mounts bear the brunt too and cost Rs 8,000 to replace. If the car jerks and stalls often, the fuel filter could be clogged.
The steering rack assembly of a City rarely goes awry but if you notice an abnormal rattling noise at the steering wheel on a rough road, stay away from the car. It is a costly Rs 50,000 replacement.
